Molte volte vi sarà capitato di sedervi soddisfatti e compiaciuti davanti al vostro blog, e pensare con un pò d’orgoglio “ho proprio un bel blog”. Ma vi siete mai chiesti come gli altri vi vedono? Utenti Explorer Prima importante distinzione: anche se le cose stanno cambiando, ci sono ancora molti, moltissimi utenti che utilizzano internet explorer. Fate una prova, ricliccate su quell’icona che non toccate da tempo di internet explorer e vedete un pò come vi vedono gli utenti di explorer, scommetto che troverete molte sorprese…..(ovviamente se siete soliti utilizzare internet explorer potete fare il contrario, scaricando un altro browser, come firefox, ma vi assicuro le soprese saranno minori). Ok, ok siete dei bravi designer e il vostro blog ha passato il test su explorer, vediamo un pò di pensare ad un altro genere di utente. Problemi di vista Il blog è una cosa da gente giovane…o almeno cosi si crede…e se un anziano signore valdaostano con problemi di vista volesse leggere il mio blog? Sicuramente l’anziano signore nella sua baita di montagna sa usare il computer e lo fa con l’unica icona che conosce, quella di internet explorer, poi sua nipote gli ha insegnato che con la sua vista che fa cilecca, può ingrandire il testo dei siti web che naviga tramite una funzione di explorer. Provateci, vediamo se passate anche questo test. Se il vostro tema/sito è programmato in grandezze percentuali il testo si ingrandirà, se invece al font è stata assegnata una grandezza in pixel, il testo rimmarrà della stessa dimensione, con il risultato di lasciare lo sconsolato nonnino di Heidi senza la possibilità di documentarsi. Diverse risoluzioni Oramai con gli schermi sempre più grandi, la risoluzione che una volta era la più diffusa cioè 800*600 sta lasciando il passo a risoluzioni maggiori, indipendendemente dallo schermo che utilizzate avete mai immaginato come vi vede un utente ipotetico con uno widescreen? Con questo tool potete fare qualche test sulle risoluzioni. Non siamo soli Non siamo soli…nel senso che oltre al nostro modo di vedere la pagine che abbiamo davanti, ne esistono altre centinaia: persone ipovedenti, daltoniche (come me), persone che ci leggono magari con dei palmari (ancora pochissimi), bisognerebbe quando si programma un template o un sito pensare anche a questi others, trovando man mano la soluzione grafica che sia la migliore per il maggior numero di utenti.

Ogni blogger sa che i commenti sono una cosa seria, i commenti esprimono il grado di gradimento del tuo articolo, senza i commenti un blog non avrebbe senso, sono sicuro che tutti quelli che hanno un blog, hanno provato un certo brivido dietro la schiena nel leggere la prima opinione di qualcuno sul proprio blogghettino, curiosi di sapere se fosse una critica, un complimento o magari una spammata. Il codice restante invece, in maniera del tutto simile ad un post in wordpress, esprime il titolo linkabile dei post recuperati da qualsivoglia categoria, e ne associa il riassunto del contenuto. Poi attraverso i CSS possiamo divertirci ad abbellire il tutto, spero vi possa essere utile.
